First Fruits/Consecration Fast 2020
Friday, January 3 – Sunday, January 12
7So Moses came and called the elders of the people and set before them all these words that the LORD had commanded him. 8All the people answered together and said, “All that the LORD has spoken we will do.” And Moses reported the words of the people to the LORD. 9And the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I am coming to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever.” When Moses told the words of the people to the LORD, 10the LORD said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments 11and be ready for the third day. For on the third day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.
This 10 day fast is designed to help you start 2020 with ensuring God is your priority and he leads the way of your daily life. The Consecration/First Fruit revival is January 14-15. Together let’s start this new decade with a bang!
Plan/Prepare to give your first fruits offering during the month of January. ATTEND BOTH NIGHTS OF THE REVIVAL.
Each morning during the fast start your day with 15 minutes of prayer before doing anything or talking to anyone. PRIORITIZE PRIORITIZE PRIORITIZE! If it’s not a priority for your wellbeing physically, mentally, or spiritually don’t do it during the fast. Eliminate every unnecessary thing during the fast, i.e. social media, certain TV programs, music that is not gospel.
Eliminate a meal every day of the fast and replace it with prayer. No junk food. No soda pops. No sweets. No fried foods.
Read a minimum of 1 chapter of your choosing from the Bible every day.
